How can I overlap several parts of a single plot in an specific duration of time?

I need to display different parts of a plot (achieved in Simulink area) in one figure to compare variation during time. In the figure,for example x-axis is a period of time (0.02 Sec) and y-axis is signals in different times (1.98 to 2 Sec and 3.98 to 4 Sec)
