Script that can compare two excel files and print out the results

I am in the process of writing a mathlab script to compare two excel files. One excel file contains tests that needs to be done and the other excel file contains tests completed. I want to compare these two files and printout the results into an excel files of the tests that were skipped and needs to be completed. Thanks

Simple enough in principle; need some definition of what the format of the data within the spreadsheets is to have any specific response.
