Hi Ghazi and johannes, Refrigeration system can be modeled in simulink in three ways

1. data-driven modeling (test data-> LTI Models)
2. fundamental equations modeling
3. Simscape (Thermal, mechanics and hydraulics library)

You can get Refprop from NIST website. it is compatible with Simulink and will get you all the refrigerant propoerties of pure fluids and mixtures.
