Inductive Filter with PMSM

Hi,
I am attempting to simulate a fairly basic control system for a PMSM, but I need to add an output filter to the simulation. I am using Simpower systems, but when I put an inductor in series with the PMSM motor model the simulation will always fail saying that these two components cannot be used in series. How am I supposed to do this in simpower systems?
Thanks, Jim

I had a problem with that a while ago. I put the inductor in parallel with a very large resistor (1 Meg) and it worked. Sometimes programs act funny when an inductance sources is put in series. it work that way for some of the more open source circuit analysis packages like switcher CAD.

I have tried this before, and just now again to confirm. When I add a large resistance (1Meg) in parallel with each inductor the simulation will run, but gives me no results. Voltage/Current measurments stay at zero with NO change at all, and most of my other measurements fail to even send anything to the scopes.
Am I missing something simple?
Jim
