Why is the UDP communication not working, when i disable "multicore cpu" in the target settings?

I am working with Matlab R2014B with xpcTarget 5.1. I am generating only the dos loader from the xpcexplorer. When I generate it with multicore CPU selected, I can ping the target computer. If I don't select it, the application starts but the ethernet card doesn't work properly. Hyperthreading is disabled, the cpu is a Xeon E3-1268L and the ehernet card is I8254x based.
