Is there an equivalent to the National Instrument "IMAQ RemoveParticle VI"

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a Matlab function equivalent to the National Instrument "IMAQ RemoveParticle VI". It keeps particles resistant to a specified number erosions and eliminates the others. (The Matlab "bwareaopen" is not suitable for my application because I need to eliminate long strings and keep islands.)
