Build executable file for a GUI-Simulink model

May anyone guide about how to construct a stand alone executable file for a MATLAB GUI that displays the graphs generated by a Simulink file. Does MATLAB Complier support Simulink-based files?
Thanks.

To clarify, are you running a simulation of the Simulink model and at the same time, running a customized GUI to display the dynamic results of the Simulink model?

No. It doesn't support Simulink model. To create executable for a Simulink model, you need the Simulink Coder toolbox.

Is the Simulink HDL coder same as the Simulink Coder. Also, I have a Realtime Workshop toolbox installed in my MATLAB too...wud it also serve the purpose?
Lastly, I am not able locate any tutorial on converting a Simulink model to '.exe'. Can anyone direct me to the appropriate literature?

Simulink Coder is the new name in new release for Realtime Workshop, so you can use RTW for code generation purpose. It's different than Simulink HDL coder, which is to generate HDL code. The steps involved are:
1. Generate C code from Simulink model
2. Compile and build the C code to an .exe file depending on the application target.
Look for details in your RTW document.
