How may I model engine start-stop functionality by using Generic Engine block SimDriveline 2.5

I would like to model 'engine start-stop functionality' by using Generic Engine block in SimDriveline 2.5. But Generic Engine block does not provide any control port for it.
I have got an idea how to start engine for t>0 as mentioned in link: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/96359-when-using-a-generic-engine-block-why-does-it-seems-to-work-only-when-it-is-given-some-initial-velo
So I would like to know how to stop engine when t>0. Please help.
