MATLAB cross-platform compilation

I need to compile MATLAB code for a Linux target while development is done on Windows PC. My issue is that my Linux machine can not have access to our MATLAB license server...
I see two practical solutions: 1- compile a Linux package directly from Windows? 2- borrow license on my Windows PC and "move it" to the linux machine..
is either feasible ? and how ?

I don't think you can do #1 so I think you need to do #2.
