Why do I get one of the following errors when I open the Visual Query Builder on Windows platforms or run getdatasources?
Registry editing has been disabled by your Administrator
or
Can not export c:\temp\ODBC.INI: Error opening the file. There may be a disk or file system error.

If you see the error
Registry editing has been disabled by your Administrator
the problem is benign. The easiest solution is to click *OK*. You should be able to continue working without further problems.
If that does not work, or you are using getdatasources in a MATLAB file, or you want to address the problem for future sessions, please contact MathWorks Technical Support for further assistance.
