Electricity generation from kinetic energy

Hi, I want couple a DC or AC generator with gear box and check the power generated by different force/torque applied on shaft of generator. (simply a speed breaker which generate electricity). can we simulate different geometry shape in MATLAB. How can I simulate and analyze the whole arrangement? . And also want view in 3D.
