how can i remove the error traci.init from traci_test.m in TRACI4MATLAB?

Undefined variable "traci" or class "traci.init".
Error in traci_test (line 17) [traciVersion sumoVersion] = traci.init();

I just installed the software using the Add-On Manager in R2019a; traci_test had no problem finding traci class.
