Digital Parametric Equalizer for audio

Hi guys,

I need a help in my project, i wanna create a layout for a audio equalizer, i have to use a spectrum analyzer (just a waveform or oscilloscope with a FFT) and i wanna know if i can do this using matlab simulink.

So if i can, someone could give me a ideia of how to do this ? If need more information about the project ask me.
