my question is i have 8 eeg signals from various channels and i need to extract clear alpha wave from any channel and make it as a template and detect alpha rhythm in other channels

My eeg files are in the name of eeg1-xx.dat (where xx is channel name like o1,o2,c3,c4,p3,p4,f3,f4) and are available in the site <ftp://ftp.ieee.org/uploads/press/rangayyan/>
