Permanent magnet synchronous: Strange values after changing machine advanced parameters

1 view (last 30 days)
Hello,
A brief introduction: I am currently gratuating on the dynamic properties of the permanent magnet synchronous motor in offshore crane applications. And i'm currently having some difficulties with the advanced parameters of the Permanent synchronous block in simulink.
I have parameters of a 25kW PM motor with a nominal torque output of 159 Nm. When implementing the simulink block every graph showed exactly what I suspected. However I was looking around in the parameters and saw the rotor flux when theta =0 parameters and accidently changed it.
Ever since every simulation I run gives strange values for torque around 2 times as big as it should even when i change the parameter back to modified park.
I run tests with the permanent magnet motor short circuited for 3 phases to make the case somewhat difficult.
I have tried a lot even rebuilding the whole simulation again, replacing the motor with other motors in the simulation which act normamlly but nothing helps.
I have handly calculated the values in Excell and old school on paper and these show that the matlab file is incorrect. Since matlab is an important part for my thesis, this is a major problem for me.
Do any of you have had similar problems with this parameter? Is this a matter of a cache somewhere to be flushed?
Manny thanks for helping around!
Sincerely,
Jan boone
