Is it possible to use an unsupported DAQ board?

5 views (last 30 days)
I have recently purchased an NI USB-6001 without realizing it wasn't supported by Matlab. The very similar USB-6008 is supported. Is there anyway to edit either the driver or a matlab file to make this work? I put in a request to mathworks to support it, but that could take a while.
Thank you, Evan

Have you tried using it yet? I am very interested to know whether this works as I have developed some MATLAB code and hardware around the 6008 OEM version. I'm hoping the DAQmx drivers & DAQ Toolbox still work, as the new 600x units are very similar.
