Real-Time Target on laptop

Has anyone run Real-Time Windows Target (simulink) using a National Instruments device, on a LAPTOP? I've been having a hard time getting some of these products working: (<http://www.mathworks.com/products/rtwt/supported/results.html>)
I purchased a 6221 PCI card and connected via a PCI-Express to PCI adapter chassis, but both NI and myself are having issues getting it to work (conflict reources, etc). Has anyone run real-time target with a laptop, and if yes...how?
