How to write the name of the plot against the line?

Hey guys!
I am trying to create line plots in MATLAB. Instead of using a legend, I want to write the name of the plot against the line itself (like we can do in Excel).
How can we do so?

Experiment with the text function. It should be able to give you the result you want.
