Host PC: Equipped with Matlab R2012b Win 32-bit, xPC Target 5.3 and with only one single drive C:\
Target PC: Equipped with a xPC Target Real-time kernel
Pre-Requistie Performed: Host-Target TCP/IP communication was established successfully
I looked a similar question which was earlier posted in the following Mathworks link:
The answer given in the above Mathworks link works if the host PC is equipped with more than one drive.
If anyone has come across such error before, please give me your suggestions.
Thanks in advance!

I couldn't find the cause behind the error. But, i do found a way to overcome the error. That is you have to reboot the target PC, if this error shows up in the monitor(which is connected to the target PC).
I hope this helps to anyone who ever came across such kind of error after finishing the build process of your respective simulink model on your host pc, downloaded the corresponding generated .dlm application file on target PC and started the application on target PC
