Speed Feedback with Discrete PID and PWM

8 views (last 30 days)
Hi, i've got a problem with the blocks PID and the PWM Generator (2-Level) commanding a Universal Bridge connected to a PMSM machine from the power system block (the machines works when not closed in feedback). I got my feedback loop with the speed error signal which is driving the PID block. When i feed the output of the PID to the PWM generator, it exits 3 identical pwm signals (i've tried feeding the pwm block with the output of a 3-phase sinuosoid generator block, and it creates 3 different pwm signals with, obviously, identical duty cycle, amplitude but different phase). I can't realize how i can manage to modulate the pwm with the output signal from the PID....suggestions??

please see if this pwm page (including the video) will help.

Thank you for your answer. I've already watched those videos, but the problem still remains...and i think it is something related to variables that affects the simulation, or the choice of the solver itself...infact the simulation (of the various implementation of the scheme) always last only 10% of the simulation time, starting from 90%. Unfortunately,i know just the basics about the solvers and all the parameters to sets for getting my simulation to go. I don't think there are big problems on the scheme, as i had figured it out before and sketched on paper, and finally i tried to copy/paste the one on ac7_example...same results. (even if i didn't tune the controller nor the estimator block for FOC) Thank you for your answer!
