getting 32 bit version for 64 bit machine

1 view (last 30 days)
Hello. A debugging tool from CSR that I want to use requires 32-bit MATLAB. I have been successfully running 64-bit MATLAB on my 64-bit PC for a few years now.
1) When I download MATLAB from mathworks.com, it defaults to the 64-bit version without giving me control. How can I get the 32-bit version?
2) I assume I can have both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions on my PC? I read a 2010 Answeres response that basically said "yes but be sure to use different directories but the same release".

Yes, you can download and install both/either. It will ask you, when you go to download, which one you want.
You don't have to worry about "be sure to use different directories but the same release" . Not sure why someone said that because they will automatically go into the Program Files and Program Files (x86) folders (on Windows) and is not something you need to be concerned about.
