Constant transfer function block in simulink

8 views (last 30 days)
Hi, I know the frequency response of a model at a specific frequency (for example 1000Hz): this response is of course a complex number.
In Simulink there is the transfer function block where you set the numerator and denominator of the continous transfer function as a function of Laplace variable 's', having in this way the frequency response at all frequency domain.
However I know the frequency response only at one frequency and I am interested only in one frequency component. So I was wondering if there is the possibility to build a constant transfer function blocks whose frequency response is given by my complex number. Even if the response is the same all over the frequency axis it is ok because I have only a frequency component.
Another way might be a multiplication by the complex number but I don't know exactly how and if it is possible/correct/
How can I do this?
Thanks in advance.

I modified the question. If it is still not clear, tell me what is unclear because otherwise I don't know how to put it in a better form

can you explain why you want to do this? i.e., why would you want to have a "transfer function" with constant frequency response. It would only be valid when applied to the input signals that are at exactly that one frequency.
