Associating your MathWorks account with a MATLAB license provides the following benefits:
To access downloads, you must either be an Administrator or be granted download permissions as a Licensed End User. New MATLAB versions are released twice per year.
● Manage your license using the License Center.
● Obtain Technical Support.
All MATLAB licenses allow end users to contact the Installation and Licensing support team for help with installation and licensing issues. A Maintenance subscription is not required for installation and licensing support.
To contact Technical Support for help with your MATLAB code or projects, you must provide a valid license number for a Professional or Academic license. The license must be within the subscription maintenance period to access these resources. Please note that MATLAB Student does not qualify for this type of technical support.
For some products, you will only be able to view documentation if you are licensed for that product.
● Obtain access to MATLAB Pre-Release and Beta versions.
For access you must have a valid license number and an up to date Software Maintenance Service subscription.
● Download free hardware support packages for Android, Raspberry Pi, Lego, Kinect, and more.
● Use MATLAB Mobile on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
To use MATLAB Mobile you must have one of the following MATLAB license types:
- MATLAB Student or MATLAB and Simulink Student Suite R2014a or later.
- MATLAB and Simulink Student Version R2012a or later.
- MATLAB Home.
- MATLAB Connector must be configured within MATLAB
Starting with R2013a, MATLAB Connector will be installed with MATLAB. For R2012a and R2012b, download MATLAB Connector.
To use MATLAB Mobile on the Cloud, your license must be within the maintenance subscription period.
