What does "Error: The variable is invalid. [stdlib::diff]" mean? I can't find it in any of the help resources

I was using MuPAD's equation solver and I got the following error, "Error: The variable is invalid. [stdlib::diff]". I couldn't find it in any of the Help resources. I am wondering what it means, so I know how to fix the error.
