GA output function writing

I want to write output function for GA. The below link has given for fmincon search. What is needed to change in code , so that I will get it for GA. Please help me. http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/math/output-functions.html#bsgpq6q-31

you have to give more details. An output function for fmincon should work for any of the GA algorithms in Matlab. Can you show us the code where you call the GA and the code of your cost function?
