Matlab uses only one SM out of 8 available. Why?

Hello,
I have a graphic card with 8 SMs. However, when I check SMs load I see only one SM actually loaded (actually two but one is in semi-idle state). I mostly use fft2/ifft2 and array manipulations. I wonder if there is a way to tell Matlab to use all available SMs? To check the load I use process explorer.
