rt_UpdateSigLogVars missing in Simulink coder r2014a

It looks like rt_UpdateSigLogVars() is still declared in rt_logging.h but is not defined anymore in rt_logging.c.

Does it mean that this call isn't needed anymore?

This might be a very old question, but I am having the same problem now in Matlab R2015a. Just out of curiosity, what did you do to fix this problem?

I have the same problem with MATLAB 2015b ... any news on this ?

It turned out that this API wasn't needed anymore for versions greater than 2013

So does this mean that I can just remove the call from existing code that I upgrade to MATLAB 2015 or do I have to replace it by somethng else ?

Yes, you can remove the call. I don't think there is a replacement call.
