How to load or import data stored in Excell to matlab script code and make it to be accesed as matrix in the code

hello,I have many problems on this topic.I wanna to load may data in excell is stored like this

 1      2     0
 2      3     3
 3      4     4
 '      '     '
 '      '     '
The main purpose  of my program is the user type his data in excel and mat lab loads  this data  and change it to matrix form to calculate torsional constant which is based on area
 i want to import this data to use it in my code
