how to convert simulink signal to sim power system?

Hello

I want to convert simulink signal ( electrical currents in my case) into simpower system. I can see the block named SPS in matlab library but I am unable to convert my signals.

In example they explained conversion with torque sensor. do i need to put torque sensor in my case?
