Hello,
i just installed Matlab2014a on OpenSuse. All went well, i could activate it and everything, but the matlab syntaxes dont work in the terminal, it doent show under applications or under recently installed. its just like it never was installed. but the installation is in the folder i specified.
could it be that it doesnt work because i changed the installation folder? the problem was, when i tried to install it under the default folder i got an error message that matlab couldnt create the folder under the given path.
EDIT: ok i got it to start with "sh /matlab/bin/matlab". but the syntaxes still dont work...
wenn i try to run the matlab file in the installation folder, the startup logo shows up, disappears and then nothing happens
