Help in generating some signals

Hi,

I need to generate a signal of V(x,y,t_n+1) versus V(x,y,t_n) and plot them against each other.

I am a new beginner here in matlab and I dont know how can I generate signal V with 3 variables x,y and t_n.

t_n+1 is the time delay of t_n.

I was told that point in phase space specified by the ordered pair V(x,y,t_n+1) vs. V(x,y,t_n) will change with increasing values of n, and that I should see circle around a central point when I plot them.

Please help me!!
