Resize MS Word figure using Matlab

I am working on a project where I need to generate large volumes of figures with captions in microsoft word using a matlab code. I currently use some functions from file exchange called Control MS Word from matlab http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/28558-control-ms-word-from-matlab

These functions are very helpful since they allow me to create MS word figures directly using matlab and also the captions so I save a great amount of time. The problem is that I need to establish a universal size for each figure so that if I use a desktop as apposed to a laptop I get the same figure sizes in microsoft word. There is a function called scalePicture but I am not sure how to use it.
