Which toolbox is adviced to use for simulating a vehicle and later to add controller for automation features(path track,obstacle detection)?

I want to simulate a vehicle with 3 or 4 dof -which toolbox should i use? later i want to simulate the vehicle model with controller to add features like obstacle detection or lane keeping--which toolbox i should use for it? can i do it with a single toolbox or i have to use different?
