Overlay Binary Mask on RGB image

Hello everyone,

I have threshold an image to a binary image, and now I wish to overlay the ROI pixels (Value of 1) over the original image, ideally with the ROI pixels in a bright colour (not white). I've been trying to follow examples such as below, but my image is segmenting a road, so the ROI is very irregular at times. I don't think using extrema will work. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't see why those won't work. Yeah the lines might be small but don't you want the actual size? If you want to enlarge them to show them bigger than they actually are, you could call imdilate() before overlaying them.
