How to edit xisting gui of a file without the .fig file?

I have a program for voice recognition. I need to edit the gui of the file but I don't have the .fig file for that. Can someone tell me how to edit the gui?

You cannot "edit" a GUI, when you do not have the required file.
Do you mean, that the GUI is created programmatically in a M-function? Then you can edit this M-file.
