how to make a box by curvature line in order to detect vein in the box?

my project is about real time hand static and dynamic to aid intravenous access.i have detect and track the hand in real time.but my problem now is i don't know how to plot box like the image that i attach..please help me in advanced.thank you

Dr. Noah Kraft at UCLA has developed methods to find vein patterns in skin in photographs. The use case was forensics (identifying criminals in illegal videos). You can also search VisionBib. We don't/can't really help with really complicated algorithms like those, just with MATLAB code or simple program flow, syntax, error messages, etc.
