Frequency Modulation in Signal

Hello Everyone,

I want to make an ECG signal's model and want to introduce modulation in frequency. I want to have each cycle in different frequency, let say which randomly vary in between 0 to 1 (rang 0 +- 0.2)

(Example Cycle1 = 1 sec, Cycle2 = 0.8 sec, Cycle3 = 0.9 sec, Cycle4 = 1 sec, Cycle5 = 1.2 sec so on...).

If any one can give me idea with sine wave or other it is also OK

I am beginner in Matlab.

Any suggestion and comments would be highly appreciated !!

What do you mean by ‘cycle’? R-R interval? Something else?
