hello to all,
I have an Arduino module with WIFI Shield that is transmitting me the data from an analog input via WIFI using a web server (Arduino server, my computer client). I can view the contents of the web page with Chrome or Firefox by tapping eh However, when I use the "urlread" function, Matlab tells me that "Either the url cannot be parsed or the protocol is not supported".
Thereofre I have the IP of the server, I can view the data using a web browser, but I cannot see it with Maltab.
Does anyone has a solution?
Best regards, Jean

perhaps this is a network issue. I occasionally get this due to the network proxy. As Mr. Claytor asked were you able to use it on any other links? or is there a specific page that needs to be added after the 192.168.0.101. such as 192.168.0.101\index.html.

Hello to all,
Thank you very much for your message. Based on your advice I have tracked the issue to a syntax problem: instead of "urlread('192.168.0.100')" I should have used "urlread(<http://192.168.0.100')">. This command worked and now I am able to copy the contents of the web page into a Matlab variable.
Thank you all, Jean
