I created an AVI file in Matlab 7.11.0 (R2010b) on a 64-bit version of Windows 7. I used the function movie2avi, with 'Compression' property set to 'None'.
Windows Media Player is not able to play this video on the same 64-bit Windows 7.

How big is your movie? I've run into this problem trying to create movies above a certain size (2,560 by 2,560 if I recall, correctly).

I had trouble to let the Movie Player show a file from inside the Temp folder. Try to move the file to another location.
