How can I create a Supercapacitor energy storage circuit with DC/DC converter, DC/AC inverter and load attached??

Hi Guys,
Basically I need to create a basic Supercap circuit that charges and discharges across a load for pulse power applications. Once that works I must then add a buck/boost converter and a DC/AC inverter between the Estore and the load. Can anyone please start me off with the basics?
