Regarding Image Processing which involves color detection and command execution ....

hi everyone, i am presently undertaking a project which involves Image processing as the major part. All i need to do is to detect a color from RGB using a live web camera and then execute a command depending on the color detected. For example if i detect a red color in the snapshot, then my bot should take a left turn; or if i detect a blue color then my bot should take a right turn and so on... As i am new to use image processing in MATLAB, i was hoping i can get some answers or help from here... Thank you.
