how to find refernce points in binary palm image so that contour of hand can be extracted.

we have converted a colour palm image to binary.now we want to construct co-ordinate system on palm image so that we can extract contour of palm and then extract features from palm lines.

here is we are attaching the output that we want. require this help since it is a part of our final year project.

Not only that, but the explanation is bad. How did you get the binary image? Was it based on the contour? Is the contour based on reflectance or an actual depth map/topographic image? What features do you need, such as total line length or intensity of the hand under the line? Is the line a one pixel wide line, or is it the actual width of the "line" or crease in the palm? If you need our help, you will have to help us help you. As of now, we have nothing.
