Measurement system with MATLAB real-time windows target and NI PCI boards

1 view (last 30 days)
Hi,
I'm setting up an experiment which employs MATLAB real-time windows target and NI PCI-6229 and carrier SC-2345 board while I'm wondering about the hardware's compatibility
It's given from here (MATLAB support page) that PCI-6229 is supported. However, in my setup, SC-2345 signal conditioning board is put between my PC and PCI-6229 board. Therefore, I'm afraid it won't work
Any relevant experience about similar system is a big help. Thank you!

If I understand it correctly, the SC-2345 is a signal conditioning board that is put between your PCI-6229 and your sensors (not your PC). So, the PCI-6229 is plugged-in directly into your PC and the Real-Time Windows Target driver will be able to recognize it.
However, the driver has no support for the conditioning board itself. So if you need to program it in any way, you would have to do it outside Real-Time Windows Target, before starting your experiment
