What are the timings for xPC Target I/O

I'm driving an inverter with digital outputs from my target PC, however I'm a bit unsure of how the timing is working. I suppose that at the beginning of the sample period, the analog inputs are read, with which the digital outputs are computed. Are these applied to the outputs as soon as the computation is complete, or when the sample period is over?

For both the analog and digital signals, the actual reading/writing is done in the block; so this happens when the block executes.
For instance, let's say you have a sample time of 0.1 seconds, and your model execution takes a very short time (< 1 ms). This means that both the analog read and digital write will happen within that first 1 ms.

Thanks for the explanation. Is this in the documentation anywhere?
