Reinstalling and 64-bit student version?

I have installed the student version, but I have to transfer it to another hard drive. Can I simply remove the old and install a new program to another hard drive? Is the student version of the 64-bit? I think that our university is the kind of use. Can I install the corresponding my computer when I have a student license?
