Software triggering in 64-bit session-based daq interface?

I'm trying to update a Matlab GUI that I use for modal analysis measurements. In the 32-bit daq interface, I was able to configure the system to use software triggering based on one of the input channels. In the new 64-bit session-based interface, I only see functions to allow external, digital triggering.
Am I missing something? If software triggering does not currently exist in the new interface, are there plans to implement it in the future?
