How to simulate SNR/BER in relaying scenario with ABF

Hi everyone,

I need your help on how to simulate SNR/BER if I want to implement adaptive beamforming i.e. MMSE/wiener at the receiver side (consider N element array). The scenario is with/without relaying.

I have done simulation on DF/DF coop downlink transmission using decode-forward relay (filename DF.m) as attached code. Do I need to change the SNR equation based on array gain/directivity as attached document if ABF is implemented. The aim is to see if the capacity is increased. Appreciate if you can give me guideline how to change it in my matlab code DF.m. Thanks in advance.
