Why am I able to run a Simulink model that uses fixed point data types after I uninstalled Fixed Point Toolbox and Simulink Fixed Point?

I had originally installed MATLAB 7.3/Simulink 6.5 (R2006b) along with Fixed-Point Toolbox and Simulink Fixed Point. I then uninstalled these two products but am still able to run a Simulink model that uses fixed point data types.

This is expected behavior. Uninstalling the products does not remove the license for a product, it only removes the actual product files. Remove (or comment out) the license for Fixed Point Toolbox and Simulink Fixed Point in the license file if you would like to remove the dependency.
