Why does my HTML file created by Simulink Report Generator not display correctly in my MATLAB Web viewer in Simulink Report Generator 3.7 (R2009b)?

I generate an HTML file from my Simulink model with the Simulink Report Generator toolbox, however when I click on the HTML to open it, the MATLAB Web viewer does not display the report or does not display it correctly.

Simulink Report Generator 3.7 (R2009b) is not supported for use with the MATLAB Web viewer. The two supported browsers are Firefox and Internet Explorer with the SVG plug-in. For further explanation of the requirements see the product requirements located here;
