Why is the display of the plots not clear in the demo for Link for ModelSim 1.1.1 (R14)?

I am running the 'modsimosc' demo that uses the analog waveform plotting feature of ModelSim. The plot display is not clear during the demo.

This bug has been fixed for Release 14 SP1 (R14SP1). For previous releases, please read below for any possible workarounds:

This issue occurs due to a ModelSim bug in waveform plotting in versions 5.8, 5.8a and 5.8b that is fixed in version 5.8c (Mar 2004).

Please upgrade to ModelSim 5.8c to avoid this problem.
